Wokstar, International Noodle Cafe serves quality meals at extremely affordable prices. This cozy restaurant is a Maui gem. They don't serve alcohol, but allow for you to bring your own which saves you even more money. Foodland is conveniently across the street for alcohol purchases. Their menu is simple and delicious, making this one of the best spots on Maui.

 
Chez Paul

Chez PaulHalfway between Maalaea and Lahaina next to the Olowalu General Store, Chez Paul's French Restaurant is a must for those who appreciate the culinary arts. This extraordinary restaurant has first-class French Cuisine and fantastic wines too. Lunch and dinner are both equally amazing with Hors D'Oeuvres such as cappuccino of lobster bisque with cognac and main entrees like Shoyu and Grand Marnier carmalized pacific salmon with a citrus beurre blanc. Chez Paul is a great spot to have a meal on the way to or from Lahaina. It's only a short scenic drive from Lahaina, Kaanapali, Maalaea, and Kihei along the ocean. Hawaiian Style Activities gives Chez Paul our highest recommendation.

Stella BluesStella Blues Cafe's theme was highly influenced by the Grateful Dead and their contemporaries in the Music scene. It's an attractive restaurant with a full bar and savoury meals like their famous Baby Back Ribs that fall right off the bone with a tropical BBQ sauce. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner in Kihei next to the Long's Shopping Center, Stella Blues has inspired live music and enticing food. If going for breakfast, try the Banana Macadamia Nut Pancakes. Chez PaulA quality lunch or dinner on the South side of Maui, Cafe O'Lei is top notch. Their sushi is fresh and inspired as well as all of their regular entrees. Try the "Hot" seared steak salad, and the Cafe O'Lei Tower composed of coconut shrimp, tempura ahi and calamari rings. They are also well known for their Baked King Crab Legs and Brick oven Roast Duckling. A local favorite for years, this restaurant does not disappoint. Without a doubt, Cafe O'Lei is one of the best restaurants in Kihei. You'll find it located upstairs on the North side of the Rainbow Mall.

 
Roy's Kahana Bar and Grill

Roy's Bar and GrillRoy's Kahana Bar and Grill will prepare you some of the best fish you've ever had. Their Yellow Fin Ahi Poketini with wasabi aioli, avocado and Tobiko caviar is worth the trip alone. One of the finer restaurants in Maui, mom and dad will love this romantic incredible meal. With dinner like Roy's Classic Roasted Macadamia Nut Mahi Mahi, you'll make the trip here more than once. Their entrees are delicious, the service is professional and personable, and the ambiance upscale and comfortable. Make certain to save room and tell your server early that you'd like to try Roy's Melting Hot Chocolate Souffle. Open for Dinner only, this is a treat worth saving your appetite for.

 
Hula Grill Kaanapali

Hula GrillLocated on Kaanapali Beach in Whalers Village, the Hula Grill is well known for it's menu of fresh Hawaiian fish, traditional feasts, delicious pupus and dim sum. Hosting both casual and fine dining, this authentic restaurant is perfect for the whole family. The barefoot bar is open to the informal guest looking to try a fresh Foccacia Chicken Sandwich from their Kiawe Wood-Buring Oven. The dining room gives a more traditional dining experience with dishes like Coconut Seafood Chowder and Pan Roasted Shrimp with Mac Nut Pesto Pasta. Make sure to ask about Peter's Nightly Special. They have an equally excellent menu for both lunch and dinner. Hula Grill has some of the best live music on the island which makes this a popular spot on the Upper West Side of Maui.

Extremely popular on Tuesday nights, you'll want to get there early for the "taco Tuesday" prices and good fun. Try their Cadillac Margarita and the Tavarua Combo Dinner.
